Help Me Remember An Old Anime Character?

Alright, so this aired in the Philippines like a looooong time ago, somewhere between 1996-2000. So, this anime was like, these people who transform into these huge *** alien like people. They have silver spandex armor, kinda like the power rangers, the armor below the kneecap is red, and they're eyes are bright yellow, their head is like, fatter than a football or something. The dude's rival is exactly the way i just explained it, except below his kneecaps are blue. If anyone can help me remember this, i will love you so much.
