Why is my finger numb?

since about a week ago, the tip of my right ring finger has felt like it's asleep. gradually, my left ring finger started feeling the same effects, then my right pinky. i can still use them, for the most part, but they just feel tingly. i don't know what i did, but i am taking hydrocodon (norco) and tramadol, both pain killers for my shattered kneecap.
