My kneecap hurts after falling when bent or straight?

I was just playing with my friends and I was doing 1 barrel roll through the grass. I ended up hitting my kneecap pretty hard, and when it happened it was tolerable to walk, and now about a half hour later, it hurts to bend or straighten my leg. I have no idea what to do except for take maybe some Advils.
